Arna Kimiai Wiki – Arna Kimiai Biography
Arna Kimiai, who was dubbed the “Uber Bully” on social media platforms, surrendered to San Francisco police on Sunday night, March 14. The 24-year-old was charged with robbery, assault and battery, conspiracy, and violation of the health and safety code for her alleged role in a March 7 attack on Subhakar Khadka, an Uber cab driver.
Kimiai was seen removing her mask and coughing on Khadka in the video that the Uber driver recorded, which subsequently went viral. Khadka, the 32-year-old cab driver from Nepal, said he was also subjected to racial taunts during the truncated ride.
Kimiai’s legal troubles, however, are not limited to just the Uber incident. As per reports, she has also been named in a civil suit over an alleged reckless driving incident. As per a report in The Sun, a woman filed a court case against Kimiai in Los Angeles over a February 2019 crash that she says left her with severe injuries and lingering pain.
The court documents allege that Kimiai made an unsafe turn and struck the woman’s vehicle. It also accuses her of negligent driving and “failing to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles.”

Charges – Arrested
The woman who was hit says she is still dealing with pain and suffering to this day and is suing for damages, medical expenses, and loss of earnings, as per court documents obtained by the tabloid.
The viral video of Kimiai’s Uber incident shows three women in the back seat berating the driver using profanities. At one point, a woman, now identified as Kimiai, coughed on the driver and grabbed his cellphone from the center dash area, and ripped off the facemask he was wearing.
According to Khadka, the violence and abusive language were unleashed after he noticed one woman wasn’t wearing a mask and asked her to put one on before he continued with the ride. He also drove to a nearby gas station so she could buy one. But by then, he said they began using racial slurs against him and taunting him. The passenger dressed in red, now identified as Malaysia King, allegedly pepper-sprayed Khadka through an open window as the trio fled, as per the police.
“She pepper-sprayed inside my car, from the passenger window that was open a little bit, that was the only window open in my car,” Khadka said, adding that he had to get out of his car because it became difficult to breathe. He says he came to the U.S. eight years ago and claims he was targeted because of his race.
King was arrested on Thursday in Las Vegas, where police said she tried to use a fake ID to transfer money at a bank. In the San Francisco attack, she faces charges of assault with a caustic chemical, assault and battery, conspiracy, and violation of the health and safety code.
Kimiai’s attorney, Seth Morris, said that she had turned herself in at the San Francisco women’s jail around 7 pm. “We coordinated her surrender with Sgt. Tony Santos of SFPD so it could be handled peacefully and expeditiously,” Morris said in a statement. “Ms. Kimiai acted appropriately and responsibly when she found out she had a warrant for her arrest, coordinating her peaceful surrender through her legal counsel and the SFPD. We have no further comment at this time.”
Before surrendering, Kimiai had defended her actions during the Uber assault in a bizarre topless Instagram video. In it, she had appeared defiant, saying “all I did take his mask off and cough a little bit but I don’t even have corona.”
