Williams’ fascination with the weather began at a young age. Growing up in Queens, New York, the winter weather and thunderstorms excited her. He has worked in Amarillo, TX and Richmond, Virginia.

Williams began his career in January 2020 as a weekend meteorologist and multimedia reporter at KAMR-TV in Amarillo, Texas. Sometime later she was promoted to full-time meteorologist at WRIC-TV in Richmond, Virginia.

Williams joined WCVB’s StormTeam 5 as a meteorologist for NewsCenter 5’s weekend evening newscasts on August 20, 2022. He replaces Mike Wankum, who was promoted to StormTeam 5’s weekday meteorologist. Williams joins NewsCenter 5 weekend host Nathalie Pozo and Shaun Chaiyabhat.

“I am honored to join this outstanding meteorological team at a station that I have long admired for their outstanding journalism and excellent weather reporting,” said Williams, who joined the team. “I am thrilled to share my passion for the weather with WCVB audiences and to call Boston my home. As an avid sports fan who loves the cold weather, the New England region could not be more appropriate.”
