Montgomery was last seen alive in New Hampshire in 2019, and his body was never found, although authorities claimed he was killed by his father, Adam Montgomery, who pleaded not guilty to the murder. State Police spokesman David Procopio said in a statement that the Massachusetts State Police and Manchester Police began monitoring Route 107 on Friday morning “in line with information developed by researchers.” Procopio added that numerous law enforcement officers were tasked with the renewed search, including 18 Special Emergency Response Team soldiers, four K9s and their attendants, a drone, and detectives assigned to the office of Suffolk District Attorney Kevin R. Hayden. In January, the girl’s 33-year-old father was charged with murder in connection with her disappearance. He is also charged with mistreating a corpse, falsifying evidence, and tampering with witnesses. The career criminal with a criminal record dating back to 2007 was charged with murdering Harmony in early December 2019 by repeatedly hitting her in the head with a clenched fist. His body has never been found since he disappeared three years ago and was last seen alive by his mother, Crystal Sorey, in 2019. However, police began investigating the alleged murder only in September 2021, after Harmony was finally reported missing. And in August 2022, authorities concluded that he was killed in December 2019, after new ‘biological’ evidence of the tragic case came to light. According to the Boston Globe, Adam Montgomery has deep family ties to Revere, with whom he has refocused the investigation. The area is about 50 miles from the home where she lived with Harmony and was reportedly the location of her childhood family home. The renewed search for evidence was announced by the office of New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella. The prosecutor conducting the investigation into his murder tried to extinguish hopes that a resumption of the search could bring the sad case to an end while remaining “wary of any speculation about the possible consequences of this search.” Formella had previously stated that the focus of the investigation shifted from finding her body to finding the person responsible for her murder. Harmony was born in Massachusetts in 2014. Her parents were unmarried, no longer together, and had a history of substance use, according to a report this year from the Massachusetts Office of Juvenile Lawyers. Adam Montgomery was in prison when he was born. The woman, who was blind in one eye and had behavioral problems, was placed in the custody of child protection services in Massachusetts when she was 2 months old. He moved multiple times between his mother’s home and his adoptive family’s homes, causing “significant trauma and harm,” according to the report. Adam Montgomery took custody of Harmony in February 2019. Harmony’s lawsuit led to seizures and the creation of social networking sites. Police offered cash rewards for information and set up a 24-hour hotline on the case. “In memory of Harmony, I ask that we do everything we can to do something nice for a child today,” Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said at a news conference. said. “It’s enough to take a few minutes out of a child’s day to say something nice, hug them, and say some special words of encouragement.” Harmony’s stepmother, Kayla Montgomery, was also arrested in January 2022 for allegedly lying to investigators about the girl’s disappearance. In addition to telling the state Department of Health and Human Services that he was in Harmony’s custody, he is also facing charges of telegram fraud for allegedly collecting $1,500 meal coupons in her name a year after the girl disappeared. he. According to court records, Kayla agreed to cooperate with New Hampshire police last year. He is currently imprisoned and is not scheduled to be released until 2029. In February 2019, a Massachusetts judge placed the girl in Montgomery’s custody, despite pleading guilty to shooting a man in the head during a drug trade five years ago. Despite the state’s attorney’s objection, the father did not have to go through an eligibility assessment to gain access to his daughter, as the judge overturned the decision. In the years after that decision, relatives accused Montgomery of abusing Harmony and prompted social workers to visit her Manchester apartment multiple times in 2019, 2020, and 2021, several times after the girl was last seen. Investigators said Montgomery’s uncle, Kevin, described events such as forcing the 5-year-old girl to brush her toilet with a toothbrush and spanking her, leaving her standing in a corner for hours. In the months before he was last seen alive, multiple reports came from people in his life to the children’s services that he had bruises and red marks on his face. In June of last year, investigators were seen removing evidence, including a refrigerator, from Harmony’s apartment in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she lived with her father and stepmother before she disappeared. #### [Who is Rebecca Danielle Jones?
