After the dispute, State Police Christopher Miller and Hyde Park police officers Bryan Sweeney and Joshua Sweeney tried to speak to Feith, who was pulling a knife on them. Body camera footage of Miller showed Kemlage driving Feith away from his bedroom, where one of his sons can be seen standing. “Look! Knife!” Seconds after one of the officers left the room, he shouted and another officer spoke into his radio, “911, send another one, there is one at gunpoint.”

Officers repeatedly asked him to “put down the knife” and told him to “stand back” as he began to stand up. However, it was seen that he continued to wander around his house and did not listen to the officers. One of the officers said, “Shoot him,” and Kemlage shot him twice, knocking him to the ground. Get off it. Get off it. He then shouts at the police not to kill him and then the video ends.
