Jeffrey Evans Wiki – Jeffrey Evans Biography
Jeffrey Evans is wanted for allegedly targeting the 65-year-old woman, who had just collected money she earned collecting cans, on St. Edwards and Willoughby streets in Fort Greene at 4:40 p.m. September 28. Police have identified the man they believe dragged a woman to and beat her Tuesday during a robbery in Brooklyn, and the NYPD police chief said she is no stranger to the criminal justice system.
Evans had 11 cases open in court when he targeted the woman in broad daylight, Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said Tuesday morning during an appearance on FOX 5’s Good Day New York. One side will say that while going to court, everything is working fine, ”said the police chief. “And I would say that not everything is working well. They forget about the victims who are going through the pain of incidents like that and how much damage one person could do. So that’s a complete and utter failure in my book. ”

As the commissioner has done in the past, he pointed the finger at the state bail reform law that took effect last year and kept many attackers out of jail.
“This is what happens when you change the system too drastically without the involvement of law enforcement,” he said in 1010 WINS. “You wouldn’t take your car to the mechanic and tell him what to do. You have to listen to the police when it comes to these changes in criminal justice, and I think you are seeing results when that did not happen. ”
Video released last week shows the victim running into the street to avoid the man, who is chasing her. A fight ensues in the middle of the street as the suspect repeatedly pulls the bag, but the brave victim refuses to hand it over.
The suspect is shown punching the woman in the face and dragging her to the sidewalk, where he continues the fight. The woman finally grabbed onto her purse, and the suspect got back on his bike and pedaled.
Several people walked down the street and sidewalk while the suspect was fighting with the victim, including two people who were a few meters away while the incident unfolded.
The victim, who suffered from pain and swelling in her face, as well as back pain and cuts on her body, was taken to the Brooklyn Hospital Center in stable condition.
