Joseph Edge was left to bed for hours at his home in Llandegla, North Wales, after his wife Carole dialed 999 at 1:15 p.m. when he was concerned about his health.

An investigation in Ruthin heard that Mr. Edge died of natural causes, but a “quick response” from the emergency service could have saved him.
