Matthew Selby A 19-year-old man was charged with murder after his 15-year-old sister was allegedly stabbed to death in a domestic disturbance at a holiday park in Wales.
Matthew Selby from the Greater Manchester area, was charged with murder on Monday after officers were called to a ‘domestic disturbance and Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Towyn, near Abergele, on Saturday afternoon.

Killed His Sister – Charges & Arrested
He has been placed in preventive detention and will appear before the magistrates tomorrow.
The Sun, citing an unidentified source, reported that the 19-year-old is suspected of killing his younger sister, attacking and seriously injuring his father, and then allegedly taking his grandfather as his hostage.
An air ambulance rushed to the scene Saturday afternoon, when parts of the Parkdean complex and a caravan were cordoned off as police conducted an investigation at the 100-acre park.
Eyewitnesses reported that the air ambulance landed on A548, which was closed in both directions, at around 3.30pm, with two ambulances and three rapid response vehicles in tow.
Mother-of-two Carly Hargreaves, 44, who arrived on vacation from Manchester on Friday, said about eight police cars, three ambulances and the air ambulance arrived at the park.
She said from outside the big caravan and camp: ‘We stayed two rows behind where it happened and we didn’t hear anything.
“I can’t stop thinking about it because my son is 16 years old. Going on vacation and not coming home to that special someone is tragic. It’s a normal place for families. ‘
On Sunday, police cars were seen entering the site as investigations continued.
Ty Mawr, close to the sea and part of the Parkdean Resorts chain, is one of the most exclusive vacation spots, with a heated indoor pool among other amenities, a far cry from the rough and ready-made image of the campgrounds of yesteryear.
Tens of thousands of tourists stay in camps along a stretch of coastline in what is traditionally one of the busiest weeks of the year.
The force said: ‘We would ask the public not to speculate about this incident on social media as it is an active investigation.’
Images released from the scene on Saturday showed dozens of people waiting in a parking lot while an air ambulance and police cars were parked nearby.
Another image showed a caravan that had been recorded by detectives.
Kay Redhead, Mayor of Towyn and KInmel Bay said: ‘It has hit us to the core. This is a fantastic place where we welcome everyone. At this time of year we have between 45,000 and 50,000 more people in the area and with the holidays at home everything is ready. Ty Mawr is a well organized and run family camp and when something like this happens it affects everyone … ‘
Ms Redhead added: ‘I would like to express my condolences to the family. It’s a tragic situation. ‘
A spokesman for the Ty Mawr holiday park, which is part of the Parkdean Resorts brand, said over the weekend that he was “shocked and saddened” by the incident that he described as “isolated and unprecedented.”
