Tina Gonzalez, a California prison officer with a “depraved mind” has been jailed for allegedly having s**ex with an inmate, in the face of 11 other inmates.

Gonzalez declared himself unopposed in April to the se**xual activity of a detention center employee with an inmate he consented to, as well as the possession of drugs or alcohol, and a cell phone to give to an inmate, the outlet said.

His former boss asked him to receive the maximum penalty of three years and eight months in prison.

But Judge Michael Idiart noted her opening statement and lack of a criminal record when he sentenced her Tuesday to seven months in county jail followed by two years of probation.

“I think what you did was terrible, stupid and you ruined your career,” Idiart told Gonzalez.

“But I also believe that people can redeem themselves and you have the rest of your life to do it. Good luck, ”the judge told him.
