Todd Christopher Roatsey Wiki – Todd Christopher Roatsey Biography
Todd Christopher Roatsey, an elementary school counselor who was once honored in the White House for his work with children, has been indicted on federal charges for possession of child por**nography, according to a criminal complaint revealed Wednesday in federal court in Charleston, West Virginia.
Todd Christopher Roatsey came to the attention of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents in late August when agents received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. A pseudonymous user of the mobile messaging application Kik had uploaded eight videos and a photo showing “prepubescent and pubescent minors involved in se**xual activities,” the complaint states.

HSI agents tracked down the IP address associated with the uploads and requested the subscriber information for the account. This led them to Roatsey’s home in Elkview, West Virginia, where she lives with his father, the complaint explains. On October 27, HSI agents searched Roatsey’s home and seized numerous electronic devices, including a Samsung tablet used for uploads, according to the complaint.
Roatsey was home when the raid took place. She told agents that they rented one of her rooms on Airbnb and that there had been “numerous guests present during the previous months” who were given access to the WiFi network, the complaint says. But when investigators searched Roatsey’s phone and laptop, they allegedly found seven videos and 26 images containing child por**nography, as well as “numerous communications” between Roatsey and “girls in the elementary to high school age range.” , according to the complaint. . (The Daily Beast has redacted portions of the presentation, which contains extremely graphic and disturbing descriptions of what the police allegedly discovered.)
Roatsey, who was arrested Wednesday, received the West Virginia Elementary School Counselor of the Year award in 2015 and went to the White House the following year as a representative of the state’s national counselor.
“It was a gala event,” Roatsey told the Charleston Gazette-Mail at the time. “I was very honored and very honored to be there and to be there on behalf of all of West Virginia.”

Roatsey works at Pinch Elementary in Elkview, whose mission statement is “Unleashing the Potential of Students.” His Airbnb profile notes that he likes “to travel and … meet new people,” noting that “he was WV’s National School Counselor of the Year and was honored at the White House in January by First Lady Michelle Obama.”
A Pinch Elementary official hung up the phone immediately when he was contacted for comment Wednesday night. On Thursday morning, the school district released a statement saying, “We are aware of the charges brought against a KCS school staff member. As it is a personal matter, we cannot argue. We will follow all applicable policies and procedures to handle the situation. ”
Although Roatsey was honored in the White House during a Democratic administration, a Twitter account by Roatsey’s name suggests a strong preference for former President Donald Trump.
