The death of model and aspiring actress Christy Giles has left her family desperate for answers after they said she was allegedly drugged and left outside a hospital after a night out in Los Angeles.

Found Dead – GoFundMe

GoFundMe claims that nearly 12 hours later, on Saturday, 24-year-old Giles was found dead on the sidewalk at a hospital. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family alleges that three men dressed in black and masked with bandanas left Giles in a car “without license plates.”

The Los Angeles Police Department did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Two hours after Giles was discovered, GoFundMe claims Cabrales-Arzola was allegedly detained at a different hospital. The designer is currently in critical condition and “remains on life support with no brain activity with little chance of recovery,” ABC7 reported.

Giles’ husband, Jan Cilliers, who was in San Francisco at the time of the incident, told ABC7 that the news is “so heartbreaking.”

“People share these incredible videos that they have with her, and that just brings her energy back, and I know that I will never see her, kiss her or touch her again,” she told the news outlet.

Opening up more about the situation, Cilliers alleged to ABC7 that Cabrales-Arzola’s toxicology report showed heroin in her system, which he explained is something neither of the women would voluntarily use.

Cilliers also told ABC7 that she got “all the messages [Giles] exchanged with someone else that night,” revealing that she was texting Cabrales-Arzola “let’s get out of here” around 5:30 a.m.

Based on the information stored in her iCloud, she does not believe that Giles has verified or replied to any messages after her, which she shared with the outlet.

Cilliers and GoFundMe organizer Carly Amos allege in the fundraiser’s description that this situation is “by no means unique” to the two women.

“Since Saturday, we have all received various messages from other women who have eerily similar stories, except that the only difference between them, Christy and Hilda is that they survived,” they say.

The funds raised through the GoFundMe campaign “go towards the investigations of the Christy and Hilda cases.”

“We appreciate any donation that provides the necessary resources to build a concrete case and do justice for these two beautiful and innocent young women who are no longer with us,” the family said on the GoFundMe page. “Also, to protect all other women who have been or could be similarly severely affected.”
