A four-day manhunt for Oropeza ended Tuesday when investigators, following a lead, traced his location near the home, which is 20 minutes from where the shooting took place. He was discovered hiding under a pile of dirty clothes in the closet of a house.
San Jacinto County Deputy Chief Tim Kean said they were waiting to determine if the gun had been recovered from the mass shooting.
